I am a postdoc at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center in the research unit Migration, Integration, Transnationalization.
My work focuses on discrimination- and policy-driven mechanisms that affect immigrants' labour market integration. Also, I work on policy effects in the context of international migration. Inequality and discrimination are still pressing issues in our society that have to be dealt with. With my research, I hope to contribute to this endeavour.
Prior to joining the WZB, I studied Political Science and Economics in Vienna, Urbana-Champaign, and Zurich before I received my Ph.D. from the University of Lausanne and the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research NCCR. I have also been visiting researcher in Malmoe and Oxford.
